Recovery. Creativity. Honest conversation.

Group Therapy at Right Place Counseling

Explore groups centered on substance use recovery, the creative life, and the conflicting expectations men face. Each group has its own focus, with room for conversation, reflection, and connection.

We offer 2 distinct substance use recovery groups.

Both groups are structured to foster conversation that respects the power of addiction while valuing personal choice. The theme is to create your own recovery adventure, with a little help from your friends.

Next Steps

For those who want to elevate or reframe their 12-Step experience.

We will examine where you want to go and the obstacles that stand in your way. We will explore the power of political, cultural, and family influences that are taboo in other arenas. The ultimate objective is to build a life so full that the desire for drugs and alcohol is no longer meaningful.

03 / Men's experiences

Right now, voicing an honest opinion in public forums can be a fraught experience for a man.

This group is a space for guys to talk openly about conflicting expectations in our lives and process ideas that are often squelched before they are fully formed in conversation. The ultimate objective is to show up in our lives with a deeper respect for others and for ourselves.
